East Afton Farmhouse & Annex

One of the Island's most precious gems

Sleeps 18 (+2 on sofa beds) • Recently refurbished • Dog friendly

East Afton Farmhouse & Annex have roots that run deep into the Island's landscape and culture. This grand homestead dates back to the 1700s and stands on the site of the original Isle of Wight rock festival. Now lovingly refurbished, the property has become one of our most impressive holiday homes, as well as a popular event venue. For large groups and adventurous families, it promises acres of nature and almost as much indoor space to play with.

East Afton Farmhouse & Annex are in regular use as a wedding and events venue. As such, the property is only available to book as a holiday let within one year of your arrival date. The farmhouse and annex cannot be booked separately.

Luxury lives here

If you hold period charm and modern comforts in equal regard, you'll be delighted to know that East Afton Farmhouse has both in abundance. You'll spot them in every corner. The grand old kitchen-diner with its AGA range. The beautiful roof terrace. The cinema room, with its dramatic lighting and comfortable theatre-style seating. And the beautiful gardens, gushing with colourful flora and fauna.

For an Island escape, it feels like a private palace tucked into the heart of nature. Perfect for sharing meals, movies and quality time, or as a home base for outdoorsy excursions around the Island. And with its two spacious event barns, it's just as unforgettable as a venue for weddings, parties and nature-fuelled business retreats.

  Luxury Family Glamping

We stayed 4 nights in the dome meadow in the most beautiful dome tent. On arrival the accommodation was spotless and so well presented with everything we needed for our stay. The dome was heated with a Dyson heater so we had a lovely warm welcome. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk and cold water, the fires were ready to be lit and all our beds were being warmed by electric blankets ready for the evening. The farm park was a 5 minute walk across the field, past the lambs and llama!! I have already recommended our stay to friends and we hope to be returning soon!!

Great venue for a weekend break

Booked a long weekend break for the whole family + dog as a surprise 70th birthday treat for my wife. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the cabin style accommodation was really nice and for a group of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog it did not seem cramped at all. The on site attractions were just right for the kiddies and we didn't have to go off site for anything, plenty to see and do. Heartily recommend it for people of all ages.
